Woodrite MarstonProduct Description
The Woodrite Marston Garage door is a Cedar built garage door is available in 3 of Woodrite’s ranges as; an up & over garage door, either panel-built or solid-built, as well as a solid built side hinged & personnel door in.
The Woodrite Marston panel built is part of the Buckingham Range of timber garage doors.
Woodrite’s Buckingham range of panel-built timber garage doors are made from selected cedar mouldings, cedar tongue and groove boards and raised and fielded cedar panels depending on the design. Woodrite’s door panel design is unique in that it “cloaks” the chassis of the garage door. Only timber is visible edge-to-edge from the front of the door, which eliminates the need for a visible chassis found on other doors by other manufacturers.
The Woodrite Marston solid built is part of the Balmoral Range of timber garage doors.
Solid-constructed doors use traditional joinery to create a solid timber panel that, other than on very large doors, requires no chassis or subframe to provide its strength. From the front the Balmoral range of solid built timber garage door have deeper edge rails, solid profiles from front to back and beautiful chamfer detailing. From the back they look just as good – edge to edge timber is all that you can see.
The Woodrite Marston Up & Over Garage door (of which the Buckingham and Balmoral ranges are both part of) is available garage door is with Masta Gear, which is a ‘do it all’ type retractable gear with greater flexibility on height sizes. Or Super Chassis gear with integrated lifting gear at the heart of the door. The Super-Chassis is available with straight arm retractable gear as standard and canopy gear as a no cost option. sizes are available from 7′ x 6’6″ up to 16′ x 8′ (2134mm x 1981mm up to 4877mm x 2438mm). Please note that the Solid-built timber door is only available as a retractable Garage Door on Masta Gear.
The Woodrite Marston side hinged & personnel doors are constructed using traditional build methods employing mortice and tenoned joints. The side, top and bottom rails are all machined used 43mm thick timbers and rebated centre rails eliminate gaps between panels for added security. The Woodrite Marston Side hinged & personnel doors are hung with three butt hinges per leaf. Side hinged doors have a night latch and finger pull (commonly used on front doors.) Personnel doors have a mortice lock and lever set as standard. Side hinged doors have shoot bolts top and bottom to secure the inactive leaf and door stays to hold the door in the open position.
