Sectional Garage Doors

We Supply & Fit

Sectional Garage doors are available in 2 materials, steel & timber. The steel version of the sectional door is available as a single skin uninsulated door, or a double skinned insulated panel.

Sectional doors open vertically upwards before moving back horizontally into your garage. The principal of the sectional garage door is to allow the owner to park right up to the door and to allow the full opening height of the garage to be utilised.

Sectional garage doors can be fitted in almost any garage and offer up t0 14cm more passage width than up and over doors. Another advantage of the sectional door is that it is optimally sealed with weather seals on all 4 sides of the door.

We offer sectional garage doors from a number of manufacturers but by far and away Hormann are the market leader for this type of door.

The sectional garage door is typically built of 4 panels which are available as either a single skin steel panel or with an insulation infill, which is available at a range of widths (40-60mm) to suit individual needs.

The designs available are simplistic and offer a range of styles of ribbing as well as a traditional Georgian panel appearance.

Sectional doors are available in a range of standard colours all powder coated at the factory but specific RAL colour matching is available with the Hormann Sectional. There are also a wide range of Decograin finishes available, offering UV-resistant synthetic foil coating to give the appearance and texture of timber.

In most cases Sectional doors are automated and by combining a Hormann insulated Sectional door with a Hormann operator the door would gain the police certification “secured by design”.

Additional options that are available with Sectional garage doors include;
Wicket Doors, which come complete with a stainless steel threshold. These lock independently to the main door and are great for people with bicycles.
There are a vast number of window options available which can be placed horizontally or vertically on the door.
Matching side doors are also available in a range of styles as either insulated or uninsulated panels which are built to the same design and specification as the sectional doors so that the match perfectly.
