Roller Shutter Garage Doors
We Supply & Fit
Roller Shutter Garage Doors were invented over 20 years ago and have evolved greatly to become one of the most popular garage door choices on the market.
Roller Shutter Garage Doors offer customers the ability to park directly in front of the garage, the door moves vertically and then roles up on a spindle into the ceiling space. The door seals on all 4 sides offering excellent protection against the weather. The Roller Shutter Garage Door does not require a frame and is in most circumstances rear mounted on your brickwork to allow maximum drive through width into your garage.
We offer Roller Shutter Garage Door from a number of manufacturers including Hormann and Garador but in our opinion the stand out option in the roller market is SWS’s Seceuroglide door.
The doors are available as either an uninsulated steel roller or an insulated panel which is built from a twin walled aluminium slat with an insulation infill. As Aluminium doesn’t rust the insulated panel is the perfect choice for people close to the sea.
Roller doors are available to be either manually operated or automated.
The automated options come with a wall mounted control box, push button control and courtesy light, as well as 2 key fobs for operation.
The automated doors use an optical safety edge and all come with a manual override meaning that you can’t be locked out in the event of a power failure.
If security is a primary concern there are roller doors available on the market with the police certification “secured by design”. This product come increased protection in the form of wider guides, additional locking systems and rolling code remote control technology.
Roller doors are available in a wide range of finishes with most manufacturers offering an extensive list of powder coat paint finishes as well as decograin foil finishes to give a woodgrain effect. Recently some manufacturers have even started offering RAL or BS colour matching so that you really can match your garage door to any colour choice.
There are a host of options available with roller doors, such as front and rear box covers, lighting and alarm systems, vision or vented slats, remote control keypads and even features allowing you to operate the door from your phone or ap.
